My Background
After a long professional career in Health Care, Talking-Changes now represents my work both as a Therapist, and a Lecturer / Presenter on a range of subjects related to Mental and Physical health and how the Mind and Body work together.
I studied Dental Surgery at Kings College London, and then worked as a Dentist in both NHS and Private Practice for many years.
I was always fascinated by how the Mind and Body worked together to make people feel and behave the way they do, which led to my first course on Hypnotherapy in 2001. That excited my interest in learning more, and I've now completed qualifications and courses in
- Clinical Hypnotherapy
- Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
- Stress Management
- Mindfulness
I am a Professional member of the International Stress Management Association (ISMA),
and a General Hypnotherapy Standards Council accredited practitioner.
Since retiring from Dentistry in 2016, I've had the freedom to work as a Therapist, Tutor and Lecturer.
I have delivered Talks to Therapists since 2014, and I also work with a major Health and Wellbeing company
(7futures) giving Talks to Groups since 2017.
